The 50318 provides super fast readings on any flat or uneven surface. High temperature capability allows for use on hotter surfaces such as grills, molds, dies, and barrels. Due to the thermocouple sensor being exposed, the probe should only be used on a clean surface with possibly a dab of oil or grease to aid in heat transfer. Durable Phenolic handle. Works with most Thermocouple Thermometers.
